Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is prepared from a small sample of your own blood. The platelets are concentrated, then applied to the skin during microneedling or injected into a targeted area, where their growth factors support the skin’s natural renewal.

PRP can be booked on its own or added to your microneedling treatment.
Skin
PRP is applied during SkinPen® microneedling, so it reaches the skin through the tiny channels the treatment creates. Used for texture, acne scarring, firmness and overall skin quality.

Eyes
PRP is injected into the tear trough area to improve the look of thin, crepey or hollow under-eye skin gradually, using your own platelets rather than a filler.
Physician-administered
PRP works gradually, and results vary from person to person. Your provider will recommend a plan for your skin at your consultation.
We look at your skin and the area you want to treat, review your health history and medications, and recommend microneedling with PRP, under-eye PRP, or both, with pricing explained before you decide.
A small amount of blood is drawn and spun in a centrifuge to separate and concentrate the platelets. This happens during the same appointment.
Some redness, swelling or bruising is common for a few days, depending on the treatment. Your provider will give you aftercare instructions before you leave.
Changes build gradually over the following weeks, and a series of treatments is often recommended. We’ll suggest timing based on your goals.
