Laser tattoo removal breaks ink into tiny particles that your body clears gradually over a series of sessions. Whether you want a tattoo gone or lightened for a cover-up, we plan the series around your ink, your skin and your goal.

We remove tattoos with the Q-switched Nd:YAG applicator on the Alma Harmony XL Pro, using two wavelengths matched to the colors in your tattoo. Each pulse lasts billionths of a second, targeting ink beneath the skin while limiting heat to the surrounding tissue.

Goals
Full removal, or fading for a cover-up
Each ink color absorbs light best at a particular wavelength. Using two lets us match the laser to the colors in your tattoo instead of treating every ink the same way.
1064nm
The longer wavelength reaches deeper into the skin. It is used for black and dark blue ink, the most common tattoo colors.
Black · dark blue
532nm
A shorter wavelength that red, orange and other warm-toned inks absorb well. It works closer to the surface, where many colored inks sit.
Red · orange
Nano
Whichever wavelength is used, each pulse lasts a few billionths of a second. That speed breaks ink into fragments small enough for your body to clear between sessions.
Fades between sessions
Some colors, such as green and light blue, can fade more slowly. Ink depth, age and location also affect how quickly a tattoo fades, so we assess yours at your consultation.
