Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should not handle damaged or opened finasteride capsules because of potential risk to a developing male fetus.
Your provider can also discuss possible side effects, including changes in libido, erectile or ejaculatory function, breast tenderness, or mood, and help determine whether treatment should be adjusted if needed.
